Chitosan is a marine fiber that binds to some of the dietary fat that you consume and removes it from the body rather than allowing it to be absorbed. Chitosan can also be used for adding fiber to your diet.

There are plenty of chitosan products out there, but only a handful contain the purest of pure chitosan. FBlock by Absolute Nutrition is a superior fat absorber.

FBlock's chitosan ingredient is unsurpassed in it's quality and purity. FBlock's chitosan goes through a process called deacetylation, which refers to the removal of acetyl groups. This is a process that increases the solubility of the chitosan fiber.

But there's more. The digestive enzyme Lipase is added to FBlock to help in emulsifying the fats that you ingest, making it a superior fat absorber. That's why it's called FBlock Xtra. FBlock is also fortified with calcium and vitamin C. The vitamin C aids in boosting the effectiveness of chitosan and the calcium is for healthy bones. Vegetable cellulose is also added to the formula to dislodge hard to get at fats.
